About Commodore 64 Timeslip

In the game Timeslip, players are faced with a tri-segmented screen, each representing a different time zone. The top zone depicts the surface of a planet where players command a fighter. The middle zone takes place within subterranean caverns, and the lowest zone has the player steering a mini-submarine. The main objective is to eliminate 36 orbs scattered across these zones while also aligning the clocks in each zone to midnight. Getting hit by an enemy adds a half-hour penalty to the clock, and being hit five times triggers a “timeslip,” causing all clocks to lose synchronization. Players can tackle each section individually, with the ability to switch between them at any moment, pausing time in the zones not currently active.
