About Commodore 64 Delta

Delta, a 1987 side-scrolling shoot’em up game developed by Thalamus, challenges players to conquer 32 levels before the game restarts.

In the year 2059, a crisis unfolds in space as diplomatic relations between Earth’s government and the Khanat, an alien race, deteriorate. A growing number of Terran transport ships vanish within a sector of the galaxy called “Delta.” Sensing a connection, the military and strategic minds quickly reactivate the elite “Damokles” squadron from Sanxion and organize a retaliatory mission against the deceitful, yellow-skinned, rabbit-toothed aliens known for cheating at poker, mistreating their mothers, and running red lights.

A hero is needed – someone with a larger-than-life presence, nerves of steel, and other commendable qualities. Naturally, you might think of your neighbor as the ideal candidate. Unfortunately, they’re unwell and unavailable. So, it falls upon you – someone who, while inebriated, signed up for three years with “Damokles” just a few weeks ago. Now, it’s time for you to rise to the occasion, secure victory, and save humanity. Dismissed!
